Recent cases include Alicia successfully defending in both the Crown Court and Court of Appeal a young man of 17 with learning difficulties who had been charged with rape (R v W) as well as a young female who was implicated in a murder but was subsequently released and no further action taken against her.
Director Vinod Jumnoodoo represented a teenager accused of the murder of a male at Kempston as well as representing one of three juvenile defendants in a rape case which resulted in the conviction of the youngest-ever rapist, but the acquittal of his client.
He has also successfully persuaded the prosecution to follow their stated policy in relation to individuals who are shown to be trafficked (e.g. R v N and R v M)
