Patrick qualified as a Solicitor in 1992 having obtained an LLB Law Degree at the University of Wolverhampton & completed The Law Society Finals Examination at the College of Law in York.
He became a trainee solicitor at Pictons in 1990 and having qualified in 1992 progressed to Salaried Partner before leaving to establish HSCO Solicitors with 2 of his fellow Directors Tim Scarisbrick & Finbarr Cuneen in 2002.
HSCO Solicitors became a leading firm in Hertfordshire before merging with JSP Law in 2015 to become a leading firm in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire & Buckinghamshire.
Patrick is renowned for his robust but practical representation of clients from providing advice prior to and during interviews in the police station to conducting trials in the Magistrates Court & hearings in the Crown Court as well as advising on appeals to the Court of Appeal.
He has extensive experience in defending a wide range of Criminal charges including homicide, sexual offences, blackmail, drug offences, assault and firearms offences in Courts throughout the country.
His reputation has resulted in recommendations from fellow professionals in the Criminal Justice System to represent members of their families and friends as well as representing professionals from the field of sport.
Patrick has a keen interest in representing those with addiction issues and works closely with a number of local charities to help such people.
Patrick is a life long football fan & a season ticket holder at Watford for many years.
